| These are the set races of the land of Olair. From Vampires to witches every race has capabilities of becoming the prime race of the Shadow Watchers. Shadow Watchers (Not actually a Race but a sect of elite warriors): - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are the protectors of the land of Olair from the forces of darkness. Only Ten can be in the sect at a time and consist of the greatest warriors and magic casters of the land. Land of Operations: Palace of the Watchers Ruling Party: The Prime Watcher
Vampires: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: The Vampire species is known for nobility and strategy during battle. They respect the old ways and choose to keep to tradition. Base of operations: The northern fields of Darkness. Ruling Party: The royal family.
Werewolves: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: Known for their ruthlessness in battle and the ability to adapt to many climates. They stick together in packs, some stay nomads but most build villages to succumb more to the modern world. Base of Operations: Main base is in the Wild Prairie. Ruling Party: To Nomads the ruling party are the alphas of each tribe. To those who live in villages the ruling party is the supreme Alpha and family.
Witch/Warlocks: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are the most adept species for the usage of spells and summonings. All but the dark magic wielders believe in the preservation of nature and life. Base of Operations: The Winding Woods. Ruling Party: The Council.
Elves: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: Like the Witches and Warlocks they hold nature at high standards and most keep from venturing into the other territories. Those who do are either those who have been banished or just wanderers. They pride themselves in the art of archery and sword play but some take skills in healing magic and other light magic. Base of Operations: The Winding Woods/The ruins of Omega. Ruling Party: Royal Family.
Humans: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are the most common of all races and are welcomed into most territories. Though they don't carry such notable traits as masters of magic or weapons they are best known for their ability to learn and diplomacy between races has become their main source of income. Base of Operations: Asyl the capital of Olair. Ruling Party: The Prime Council
Water Spirits: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: The last surviving race of spirits (Avatars of nature) from the past wars of Olair. Most live beneath the lakes of the realm and rarely are seen above the surface of the water, even more rare to see far away from their watery homes. Dwarves: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are best known for their amazing crafting and mining skills. They prefer to live in mountains and even build their kingdoms within them. Base of Operations: The Blue Mountains Ruling Party: Royal Family
Night Walkers: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: A new arising species in the land of Olair, they are born from the darkness and have taken over the southern territories in the Mountains of Ice. Their magic is malevolently based and requires the constant drain of life to keep fueled. Base of Operations: Mountains of Ice Ruling Party: The twelve Dark Ones.
Wraith: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: The walking undead they are seen as a curse upon the land and are wanderers, whats left of a great Necromancer's army from hundreds of years from before. Though their bodies can decay without a constant supply of life they have no sense of pain and are mostly unkillable though they have a weakness to healing spells and other light spells. Reapers: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are the carriers of the dead to the afterlife but live most of their lives in the living world, taking up other professions as a front to keep their true selves a mystery. Though they are technically dead they do not fall under the undead category. Their appearance can resemble that of a human or those of other races. Snow Imps: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are the smallest of all of the races but are known for their adept escaping skills. They are found in both the north and the south where the weather is cold and the snow falls deep. Base of Operations: Villages of Ice (North and South) Ruling Party: Great Imp Council
Yokos: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are very similar to humans visually except for bright orange colored fox ears and tail(s). They are adept in fire magic and are well known for speed and cunningness. Though unknown to most in this Era they already existed on Olair before any of the other races showed up though such records have been lost to time. Orcs: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are a warrior race with rarely little care for the art of peace. There are few who act different from this system of hate and anger. They are and have for as long as known been at war with the dwarves and humans. Base of Operations: Silver Lined Mountains. Ruling Party: War Chiefs
Dragon Born: - Spoiler:
Notable Traits: They are what is left of the ancient race known as dragons (The last one known had died near the end of the third Era). They are known for great defensive scales and fierce warrior skills. They live alongside the dwarves, helping them with crafting and smelting. Base of Operations: Blue Mountains Ruling Party: The Jeweled kings.
